Churches for Urban Ministry began in Lynchburg in 1952 at Westminster Presbyterian Church to share God’s love with the neighborhood around the church. They are guided by 1 Timothy 4:12. It consists of 8 area churches, QMPC being one of them, 2 agencies and concerned individuals.
QMPC is involved through financial support, food can drives, workers and volunteers for Camp Timothy, the Grow and Give Community Garden and the annual Citrus Fruit sale.
